Blog 3: “Alláh-u-Abhá!” Introducing new words through storytelling.

Depending on how and where we encounter them, new words can present us with a number of challenges. In such a diverse world, we often hear foreign greetings, or expressions of gratitude. Some are more familiar than others!

Including such words in your stories is a great way to introduce them to children.

Young people often love the sound of words in other languages, and given a little push they will not hesitate to give them a try! You will be surprised how much fun they will have chewing on these unusual sounding syllables! Laughter can often be a big part of learning new words and indeed a new language!
